Anantnag Police organizes Police Public meeting | KNO

Srinagar, March 29 (KNO) : Anantnag police under civic action programme organizes a police public meeting at Police Station Achabal.

The aim of organizing such public meetings is to reach the public and sort out their problems. The meeting was chaired by SDPO Achabal Shri Tanveer Ahmad in which a large number of respectable citizens of their jurisdiction participated.

SHO Achabal Shri Javaid Ahmad was also present on the occasion. During the meeting, the participants highlighted various issues of public importance including drug menace and other issues related to civil administration. In the meeting, the issues of Police-Public co-operation which will duly have impact on peace and tranquillity in the area were discussed.

The participants were assured by the officers that the issues pertaining to the Police Department will be resolved shortly while as the issues of civil nature will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. The participants reiterated that more such meetings should be conducted in future.(KNO)
